Chapter 20 - Moonstair (King of the Trollhaunts - Part 1)

Back to Ilarosa, the party decides to get more involved in the war waging around them, and to seek the famous Red Priest and her rebel army. They travel to Skythrone, the Capital of the Gryphyn Marches, and from there to Moonstair, a town in the Darklands where the Red Priest is supposed to be stationed.

There, they find a town under siege. Apparently, a Troll Warchief by the name of Skalmad is uniting the humanoid tribes, and besieging Moonstair. The heroes manage to enter the town, and offer their help to the locals.

They find out that the Red Priest, whose real name is Gyllenn Mercadior, daughter of the war-hero Aramus, is defending the town with her army, but it will be necessary to kill Skalmad before he attacks in full force. The heroes decide to go and seek the Great Warren, the ancestral lair of the Troll Kings into the Trollhaunts.

After travelling into the swamps, they finally reach the entrance to the ancient complex.
